

Keep On Track
A showcase of Audio I recorded, Edited and Implemented into an Unreal Engine 5 project using MetaSounds.
'Keep On Track' is a 3rd year university project that I worked on as sole audio designer.

It was created within Unreal Engine 5, which meant I utilised the meta-sounds feature. This project was made for a client, and designed as a quick session mobile strategy game.

I created each SFX using a mix of Foley and digital techniques. I utilised procedural audio tool, Pure Data to create a variety of the games SFX such as the engine and wind sounds.

I also created some basic ambient music tracks for the first time using an Orchestra plug-in for Reaper. These tracks were designed to match the theme of the area, however only 2 out of the 3 tracks were made due to time constraints.

I then utilised the meta-sound feature to create audio loops and timed functions, eliminating the need for Wwise.
​
It served as a great learning experience working with some software unknown at the time and pushed me to create audio in unique ways.
